Parabolic trough solar-assisted coal-fired power generation system is managed to replace some fossil fuels,and can achieve efficient use of solar energy resources, reduce the cost of solar thermal power generation to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and other effects, by the coupling of conventional coal-fired generating units and solar energy.The relevant researches have been done on the parabolic trough thermal vacuum tube collectors and parabolic trough field aided coal-fired power system, the main research results and innovation are summarized as follows:(1) Based on the second law of thermodynamics, a model of trough collector energy transfer and a computer simulation program are built in this paper. With the United States Sandia laboratory experimental data, the model of exergy analysis coMParison with the model validation results show that the simulation results agree well with the experimental results.the maximum relative deviation of is2.08%, while the minimum relative deviation of0.77%. Revealed by the simulation within each collector process irreversible loss of energy distribution, collector of irreversible exergy losses mainly metal absorber tube with suction heat loss (34%) and optical exergy loss (26%). This paper also studied the selective absorber coating absorption, glass tube transmittance, solar radiation intensity and HTF temperature, flow and other factors on the collector exergy efficiency and exergy loss distribution.(2) This paper presents the use of the heat trough collector field to replace coal-fired unit three high pressure extractions, and design of power boosting and coal saving by two options. At the same time, supporting the establishment of coal-fired power generation system of solar energy calculation model. Lhasa, Tibet, and the typical year for the summer solstice day as the collector field design point performance of the two program units were studied, results showed that power boosting program of solar power by photoelectric conversion efficiency of26.16%, while coal saving program of photoelectric conversion efficiency of20.62%.(3) According to this field of parabolic trough built coal-fired power generation systems supporting simulation model, the different conditions on the unit under the program and run a total of six different models in the design point performance and the performance was simulated and analyzed the set of area for the solar assisted heat coal-fired power generation system performance iMPact. Finally, analysis the cost of solar-aided coal-fired power generation system and something economy.
