Study On The Methods Of The New Chinese Style Landscape Design

Because of the developing of the society globalization and the invasion of the western culture, some Chinese people become blindly pursued the exoticism. And it cause the consequence that those people began to ignore the traditional Chinese garden art. But nowadays, with the growing of the society, some Chinese people realize that as a Chinese, if we lose our culture, we lose our identity. So some of the Chinese designer began to notice the importance of the Chinese garden art and start to search the way to carry forward and innovate it. The New Chinese Style Landscape is one of the good examples. It integrates the traditional Chinese culture with the modern landscape, and it becomes the leader of the modern Chinese landscape.In order to meet the aesthetic demands of modern Chinese, the New Chinese Landscape Design which combined with the traditional Chinese styles and the fashionable elements, is appearing in front of us, without losing the essence of the traditional culture. By the invasion and the influence of the foreign culture, our aesthetic changes a lot. The birth of the New Chinese Landscape is based on learning from the essence of foreign aesthetics and innovated the traditional culture of our country.First, this thesis introduces the reasons of the creation of the New Chinese Style Landscape and analyzes the relationship between the Chinese traditional landscape and the modern landscape. It states the concept of the New Chinese Style Landscape. Then it compares the style of the traditional Chinese landscape and the New Chinese Style Landscape. The most important thing is this thesis concludes the elements of the landscape and the methods of designing by analyzing some of the excellent examples of the New Chinese Style Landscape. So that it can provide more theoretical evidences in the future study.
