Research On The Integrated Conservation Of The Historical And Cultural Town Of Shedian

Accompanied by the development of traditional commerce, the historical and cultural town of Shedian becomes to be prosperous. Shedian has lots of Historical and cultural heritage, which has distinctive local characteristics and cultural value, and they are important parts of Henan’s historical and cultural resource. With the acceleration of China’s social transformation and urbanization process, the economy and construction amount of Shedian grows so fast, however, it also has experienced the most rapid and drastic damage. In the rapid process of urbanization, how to protect Shedian scientifically is an important issue that need to be addressed. The integrated conservation of Shedian is the research object of this paper. By means of investigation, historical documents research, cases study and other methods, based on the current theory of cultural heritage protection,the paper analyzes current problems of the environment and landscape, the layout and spatial scale of street, the historic features and intangible cultural。Using the theory of Urban planning, Architecture, Sociology and System theory, Cybernetics, this paper discuss the integrated conservation of Shedian from the protection of two aspects of tangible culture and intangible culture.The full text contains six chapters. The first chapter narratives the research background and significance, domestic and international research situation, the research contents and methods. The second chapter analyzes the overview of the Shedian. The third chapter discusses the present situation, the opportunities and challenges of Shedian. The fourth chapter discusses the necessity of the integrated conservation of Shedian, and raises the objectives, principles, content and strategy of integrated conservation of Shedian.The fifth chapter discusses the integrated conservation of tangible cultural of Shedian.
