The anchor connected joint of main machine hall is an important part in conventional island. The anchor connected joint is the connection of the steel roof truss and the reinforced concrete column. When we design main machine hall in conventional island, the anchor connected joints are considered as hinge connection joint. In fact, the anchor connected joint have remarkable Rotary stiffness. The anchor connected joint can not be simplified as an ideal modal for pinned.This paper introduce the theory of semi-rigid connected joint and ANSYS first. An experiment is simulated by ANSYS in this paper. This paper compare the moment-rotation curves between experiment and simulation. The moment-rotation curve in experiment coincide with the moment-rotation curve from ANSYS simulation. Using ANSYS to simulate the anchor connected joint on the mechanics performance is feasible.This paper use ANSYS to simulate two holes anchor bolt joint and four holes anchor bolt joint on the mechanics performance. This paper analyse the ultimate bending moment and Rotary stiffness of the anchor connected joint under anchor bolts pretension, anchor bolt horizontal spacing, anchor bolt diameter, end plate thickness, steel column end plate length, steel column section height, stiffening rib and so on. This paper get some useful conclusions at last.This paper establish a frame of main machine hall in conventional island in ANSYS. This paper input load in ANSYS according to the actual load. This paper Compare mechanical properties between main machine hall with two holes anchor bolt joints and main machine hall with four holes anchor bolt joints in different load combinations. According to the result of the ANSYS modal, this paper suggest a single arc joint in main machine hall. The finite element modal of single arc joint is established by using ANSYS. This paper Compare mechanical properties among main machine hall with three kinds of anchor connected joints in different load combinations. This paper prove that:for main machine hall in conventional island, from the consideration on the mechanical properties, the single arc joint is the best, two holes anchor bolt joint is the second best, four holes anchor bolt joint is the worst. Although the structure of single arc joint is more complex than the structure of two holes anchor bolt joint and four holes anchor bolt joint, the single arc joint is suggested to use in the connection of the steel roof truss and the reinforced concrete column in main machine hall of conventional island.
