The construct of university campus reached its peak along with the propulsion of highereducation, From the theory research on university campus design, most scholars discussfrom architecture、urban planning、landscape and behavioral psychology angles, but lesscare of outdoor thermal environment. More and more practice show that, there is a closerelationship between campus thermal environment and personnel thermal comfort and safety. The stand or fall of thermal environment is the important content of the campus ecologicaldesign. Study on architecture design to improve the outdoor thermal environment have a greatsignificance. In view of this situation, this article research Effect of piloti on School Buildinggroup Outdoor Thermal Environment Evaluation in Guang Zhou. Measurement and Analysisof Summer Outdoor Thermal Environment of Campus Open Space in SCUT.The mainresearch work is as follows:(1) Survey the piloti design in school building in hot and humid region. Understand pilotidesign specific uses technique on Guangzhou educational building in hot and humidregion.Obtain the height layer, form and function of the piloti in architecture. Evaluation thegray space which belong to education building in the special needs of communication space ineducation building. Evaluation and analysis of piloti design in southern humid and hot climate’s function and the importanc.Obtain the piloti design method in the southern climateadaptation design technique.(2) Measurement31-34building of South China University of Technology teachinggroup outdoor thermal environment. Measured the microclimate of different constructionenvironment surrounding the building group. The results show that, under the piloti thermalenvironment is improved apparently, the water cooling air temperature during the day, nightoposite, the air humidification effect all the day. the ground surface temperature difference isextremely obvious because of various types ground, but above1.5metres pedestrian height indifferent types of surface difference is not very clear. The air temperature and radiationtemperature is the lowest in the piloti, the remaining points changes a little on the night.(3) The three-dimensional non-hydrostatic climate model ENVI-met were applied tosimulate out door thermal environment. The spatio-temporal dynamic characteristics ofsimulated surface-air temperature were coincident basically with the observed results. It hasbeen proved that ENVI-met is a reliable tool to simulate the different urban scenarios.(4) Based on the research of different design parameters, three-dimensional non-hydrostatic climate model ENVI-met were applied to simulate out door thermal environment of different types. The height of2.2m and4m and the rate of25%,50%,75%,100%, Over allnine kinds of conditions in simulation, compared the influence of the thermal environmentwith the height of2.2m and4m of piloti, the height increase does not significantly alter thegroup average SET*, but can change the average SET*around the building which havepiloti. Elevated rates of piloti at the same height have a obvious outdoor thermal environmenteffect: with piloti rate increases, thermal environment was improved obviously, piloti ratesfrom25%to50%changes, with overhead rate increases, thermal environment continues toimprove, but the effects of small.
