Aluminium honeycomb composite materials as a new material, which has the advantagesof high strength of the structure, have been widely used in aerospace, architecture,transportation field. This paper focuses on the aluminium honeycomb composite materialmechanics characteristic and dynamic characteristic and aluminium honeycomb compositematerials would used in the bus platform.First of all, Basic mechanical property of aluminium honeycomb Composite used Bus-platform which contained Stretching, compression, and peel strength is tested respectively,and aluminium honeycomb composite material for bending is tested Using the three pointbending method. Then, it is compared with other bus platform of mechanical properties, andthe test results show that the aluminium honeycomb bus platform is better than the other busplatform material in mechanical properties.Secondly, modal parameters and physical parameters are analyzed based on the modalanalysis theory. The aluminium honeycomb composite materials bus-platform dynamiccharacteristics are tested using the pulse incentive method of the experimental modal analysis.According to the lateral bending vibration theory Bernoulli-Euler beam and Timoshenk beamtheory, this paper deduces the frequency equation, and get natural frequencies and dynamicelastic modulus of aluminium honeycomb bus-platform, and concludes that the elasticmodulus to better reflect the inherent characteristics of the materials. The dynamic elasticmodulus of aluminium honeycomb and three point bending method of static elastic moduluswas compared and analyzed. Data results show that the dynamic elastic modulus is generallyhigher than static elastic modulus, and can use the dynamic elastic modulus as aluminiumhoneycomb composite material of a kind of assessment index. the dynamic characteristic ofaluminium honeycomb is simulated and using of simulink module of matlab software, and arecompared with ME ’scope VES modal analysis software to get the pulse response of figure.In the next place, aluminium honeycomb composite bus-platform installation andfixation is explained which states the feasibility of the aluminium honeycomb installation.Finally, The research achievements are summarized and the further researchingdirections are proposed.
