The rapid development of urbanization process creating comfortable andconvenient to our life, but also caused quite a lot of adverse effects to our livingenvironment at the same time. Such as Foul air, noise nuisance, the critical Lightpollution and so on, these environmental problems has already pose a threat toour physical and mental health. While as a major part of urban ecosystem, theresidential landscape is closely linked with people’s life. The ecological research anddesign on residential landscape, can not only enhance the residential quality of life,improve people’s living environment, which is more advantageous to the residentialnatural ecological system’s stability and development, also has a long-term economicbenefits and social significance.Based on the analysis and interpretation of the construction problems of China’scurrent ecological residential district, and combining domestic and foreign theoreticalresearch results and practical experience, from the two aspects of ecologicaland spiritual ecology to explore the basic concepts and characteristic of ecologicalresidential district, as well as some principles of construction of ecological residentialdistrict that should be followed. Then, starting from build natural ecologicalenvironment and the spirit of the ecological environment, this paper systematicallysummarizing and discussing the main way to carry out the design of residentiallandscape ecological, and combined with typical ecological community ofJi’nan “Hengda Oasis” community to carry on the analysis, the author sums up theresidential landscape ecological design in the advantages and can be used for reference,analyzes the design characteristics, and summarizes the insufficiency, proposed theimprovement suggestion.
