In recent years, the technology of continuous casting has been widely used, high efficiencycontinuous casting relies chiefly on the increase of casting speed. Mould is one of the importantequipment in continuous casting production, its performance plays a very important role in theproduction capacity of continuous casting machine and the quality of casting blank. Theelectro-hydraulic servo mould oscillation system controlled by computer have series ofadvantages:It has stable running in high frequency vibration.It has accurate vibration-oriented;The structure is compact and simple and the transmission link is few, so the adjustment and themaintenance is very convenient; It can change oscillating curve and set vibration wave online,increasing the steel grade. It can improve contact state of slab surface and mould copper wall andenhance the surface quality and reduce cohere leak steel. Therefore, The electro-hydraulic servomould oscillation system controlled by a computer is development direction of the mouldoscillation system.The electro-hydraulic servo drive mould oscillation system is designed in this paper aswell as the construction and reliability of the hydraulic cylinder combining the presentdevelopment situation of the device at home and abroad.Firstly, according to the Continuous Casting Mould requirement, the hydraulic system isdesigned through consulting plenty of domestic and foreign literatures, and hydrauliccomponents is chosen reasonably through calculation. Secondly, in order to protect the hydrauliccylinder from dust and abrasion,a kind of new device has been designed, what’s more, elementanalysis is done on important components of hyraulic cylinder under the ANSYS environment,and a series of tests have been made due to find out the response of the high pressure. Finally,combing with the experiment of exercitation in a hydraulic company, a research about thereliability and product-life-cycle is done which summarize the forms and reasons of invalidationand table a proposal on how to improve the quality of hydraulic cylinder during the process ofmanufacture.
