The Beauty Of Neutralization In Landscape

The Confucian Temple, the Family Mansion and the Cemetery are known as the Three "Cons" in Qufu in Shandong province of China. The Three "Cons" is the representative environment of Confucian culture, and also is the classic of the excellent traditional landscape art. Meanwhile, it is the material carriers of the thousands of years of Chinese culture as well as the first-rate material conditions of the cultural environment of Chinese classical landscape that we studied, hi1994, UNESCO World Heritage Committee approved it was included in the World Heritage List. The World Heritage Committee commented the Three "Cons" is not only the essence of ancient buildings, but also reflects the essence of Confucianism. The famous architect Sicheng Liang describes the construction of the Temple as "it is unique case in the word" from the position of architectural history. In addition, there are numerous emperors, generals and literatis to Qufu to worship Confucius. Until today, there are countless people come to Qufu from around the world every year.Based on influence of Confucian in the international, the author discusses the philosophy, the spatial sequence, the art of features of landscape systematically. After explore the view of the hierarchical, natural and social of the landscape of the Three "Cons", and then primarily study the art of features of landscape environment. Including layout, structure, decoration, facilities of landscape, also in terms of plants of landscape and so on.In addition, the thesis also discusses the historical significance and contemporary significance of the art of landscape and environmental of the Three "Cons" through the historical continuity, succession of thinking, unified diversity and context inheritance of the thought of Confucian. On this basis, the thesis pose the ideology of Chinese Confucian landscape philosophy——the beauty of neutralization, and discuss the influences of "the beauty of neutralization" upon the art of Chinese traditional environment and urban and rural landscape art of china in the future.
