Distribution Network Reconfiguration is an important method of electric power automation, which be used to improve the operating structure of the distribution network, reduce network losses and improve network reliability. In this paper, a simulation platform of distribution networks reconstruction based on embedded systems was designed, which is far-reaching significant to the research of distribution Network. It can be used to verify the distribution network reconfiguration algorithm and simulate the entire reconstruction process.First of all, after analyzing the objects and structures of distribution network reconfiguration, completing features and requirements analysis of embedded distribution network simulation platform, then proposed system design flows and concepts. Building system hardware and software platforms based on the ARM+FPGA design to testing and analysis. The improvement program based on the analog node network designed to solve its defects and problems.Second, the embedded distribution network reconfiguration device was designed into multiple modules. The hardware architecture of embedded computing module, the design principles and features of the relevant unit, PCB design and EMC precautions were introduced. Through transplanting BootLoader and embedded Linux kernel, building the root file systems to set up a Linux system development environment for embedded computing module, then develop, test and add device driver modules which were needed by system. The measurement methods and hardware structure of the single-phase AC power parameters acquisition module were analyzed, which include the data calculation principle, system architecture and software development characteristics of the core measurement chip78M6613. And the host test program written in C language under Linux, using SLIP protocol via the serial interface to complete the functional test of the data acquisition module. The handware structure of distribution network simulation node, the functional principle and hardware implemention of each unit, and the electrical connection between nodes were described. At the same time, the article introduces the Modbus protocol and the TCP/IP protocol, analyzes the software design features and program flow of simulation node, as well as the implementations of the host test program based on different protocol. Third, system integration testing operated on the software platform which was developed using VC++on the host PC. Using it to select the different distribution network system and set its reconstruction, we could complete loss of network analysis and reliability analysis.At last, the specific research and system problems in development and testing process of the embedded distribution network reconfiguration was summarized, the defects of the platform and upgrade directions in the future was pointed.
