There is a great improve of distribution automation level along with construction in distribution network. A lot of intelligence terminal units are used in distribution network. All of these has changed the phenomena that a number of timeworn devices in distribution network and weak network configuration .How to improve Distribution network's economy level and safety level is the keystone of electric power enterprise's job.This paper based on the research of the differences between distribution network power flow calculation and transmission network power flow calculation, draw a conclusion that traditional Newton-laphson method and PQ decomposition method are not applicable to calculate distribution power flow, paper arranges distribution network power flow calculation method used in common, and analyze the advantage and disadvantage of each other.List some kinds of reconfiguration algorithm, and analyze the localization of static state reconfiguration algorithm based on data of single-time-period. Paper bring forwards the viewpoint that make partition of time according to the power load distributing status and process reconfiguration in each period of time is the best way to reduce line losses. There are some distinguishing feature in Distribution network, make use of these feature can improve the efficiency of genetic algorithm. Paper research how to calculate the best configuration of distribution network more efficient, and at the same time take two adjacent period of time configuration combination optimum into count, synthetize factors as switch's voltage class, status of power flow and position in network to evaluate the affection to distribution network that switch change state to modulate network configuration .At last present the flow chart and approaches of dynamic reconfiguration and through simulation educe the result: distribution reconfiguration can reduce line losses, furthermore in the condition of restrict switch change times dynamic reconfiguration based on power load distributing has better effect than other method.
