Welding Quality Of Body-in-White

As a commonly used traffic tool, car is an important product which expands domestic demand. As one of automotive four assembly, body has an important effect in assembling, safety, ergonomic, economy and appearance of vehicle products. With increasingly diverse demand for cars’ diversification, individuation, body design occupies an important position. Therefore, the white body welding&assembling is a key process of the body manufacturing, the quality of welding decides the quality of the vehicle manufacturing.Based on a technological transformation project of the SUV model welding production line, this paper focuses on the problem of the welding quality of Body-in-white and does the following several aspects of research work mainly.(1)The implementation of the concurrent engineering makes the white body welding quality control advance to the product design stage. In design stage, makes overall planning for the body quality of Body-in-white. In addition, the virtual manufacturing verification finds and solves design flaw early, shortens time of the development, saves cost of the development, and ensures the whole quality of product.(2)The total quality management (TQM) method helps to considers several parts comprehensively, such as person, machine, materials, process and environment, and designs the automobile welding-assembly line, improves manufacturing process capability, ensures the welding quality of Body-in-white.(3)Through the study of the principle of the resistance spot welding, and rational configuration of process parameters, ensures spot welding quality, ensures the quality of white body strength.(4)Investigating all the manufacturing process, and using the statistics method, the welding quality of Body-in-white is improved and is controlled effectively.To sum up, combined with the actual business project, this paper considers the problem of the welding quality of Body-in-white, ensuring that the welding quality of Body-in-white get control systematically and effectively.
