As the economy continues to develop, asymmetric load,high-power impact-type loadand the nonlinear load produced a large number of harmonic pollution and increasing gap ofreactive to the grid. Power quality problems affect people’s normal life and work, andnumerous lessons what we learned told us that the modern power grid should be left enoughpower standby and provide the dynamic voltage support.In this paper, the research object is the TCR-SVC what in the field of reactive powercompensation,and there are some improvements to the device on the basis of the existingengineering control method.In order to obtain the optimal control method under different conditions,the SVCcontrol algorithm coordinate the voltage control,compensation of negative sequence currentand the adjustment of Power factor. Voltage control model based on the simplex optimum PIcontrol algorithm, and on this basis the automatic gain control module and the electricityregulators module are added to the controller to realize the automatic continuous control forregulator gain and improve the resistance of the system fault. According to the power gridimbalance phenomenon,this paper makes some research on negative sequence compensation.At the same time, a kind of fuzzy-PI control algorithm was put forward to adjust powerfactor,which use the empirical control called fuzzy-control when there is substantial powerfactor fluctuations,while using the PI controller. All the control strategy through the buildingPSIM model is validated, and the result is good.Combined with the trend of the Ethernet development, this paper adopts a new type ofEthernet communication based on UDP protocol to replace the traditional RS-485communication, and its communication speed and stability are superior to traditional RS-485mode which verified by the experiment and simulation. SVC interface circuit with the triggersystem also have a detailed design and various circuit blocks are optimized and improved.Alast, advanced electro-optical trigger technology is used to ensure the safety of the entiredevice.Ultimately, the device obtaind the certification of IEC61954by the high-voltage testing ofthe valve block, and field-proven and controlled trial are conducted in Guilin. The test resultsshow that the trigger monitoring system can provide a stable long-running and the controlsystem can satisfy the actual requirements.
