The core content of distribution network automation is distribution network optimization. Depends mainly on the Distribution Network Reconfiguration and distribution network system capacitor switching optimization achieve distribution network optimization. These two distribution network optimization implementations are complex optimization problems. This article is the use of graph theory to the distribution network diagram to simplify homeomorphs, and according to the spanning tree is divided into different structural model in homeomorphs, then solving the two methods from the point of view of the pattern analysis.It is a relatively simple and efficient way.Firstly, according to the structural pattern’s radiating characteristics in the distribution network, used the ideological homeomorphs in graph theory to simplify the diagram of the distribution network, and divided into different structural model of the distribution network, defined the distance vector between the modes to distinguish between the different modes. On the basis of structure model has been built advanced an improved pattern recognition model to solve the problem of the output space difficult to determine and express in the original pattern.Proposed two different Distribution Network Reconfigurations in this peper: based on the time point of distribution network reconfiguration and based on the time interval of distribution network reconfiguration. And there are two specific algorithms for based on the time point of distribution network reconfiguration:based on improved optimal flow and genetic algorithm, and based on support vector machine algorithm. There are two algorithms for based on the time interval of distribution network reconfiguration:static algorithm and dynamic algorithm. The main idea of based on improved optimal flow and genetic algorithm is that used the structural model will distribution Network Reconfiguration decomposed into distribution network reconfiguration sub-problems within several models. Used the improved optimal flow algorithm conduct of the part optimization in the sub-interval, and obtained the local optimal solution within sub-problems. Then use the genetic algorithm to global optimization search in the collection of sub-optimal solution. And obtained the global optimal solution in the distribution system. The advantages of this new algorithm is reasonable of the two algorithms together and weaknesses. Not only used the local search method in the improved optimal flow improves the searching capability within the local, but also compression of the genetic algorithm computing space. And improve the computational efficiency of genetic algorithm.The main ideas of based on support vector machine algorithm is that use of already established improved pattern recognition model, support vector machines as the model classification machines, and training the samples. Good use of the advantages of support vector machines non-linear, high-dimensional identification and a finite number of samples, strengthen the generalization ability of this new model. Because the improved pattern recognition model good solve to the difficult problems of expression and to determine in the original model output space, so this model is very suitable for use to a certain size of the distribution network.Static algorithm and the optimal flow method is characterized by very similar. Therefore, just slightly improve on the optimal flow method. Then get the static reconstruction algorithm, the advantages of this algorithm is able to greatly reduce the computation time. Use of the structural model in the homeomorphs switching into switching in the same model and switching between the different models, and analysis of the interaction and impact of different switching, thus obtained the heuristic principles that can determine sequence of the switching, get the optimal switching action program.Proposed the dynamic algorithm about reactive power optimization in the distribution network. The main idea of this algorithm is get dynamic optimization problem of the distribution network system decomposed into several single node capacitance of dynamic optimization problems, and then each single node capacitance by iteration to get the dynamic optimization optimal solution in the distribution system. Because capacitance of each single node is a local optimal solution obtained under conditions of varying constraints, so in the iterative process node capacitance switching capacity and time can be corrected. The advantages of this algorithm is not limited to the interval of optimization.
