In recent years, China’s hydropower construction field a bouncy project-low head bulb turbine hydropower units, are thriving and flourishing. Horizontal type tubular turbine unit has remarkable technical and economic advantages. Compared to conventional vertical axial flow unit, the power plant construction costs can save10%to20%, and stable operation in the system, annual generation capacity of4%or more. With the bulb type tubular turbine hydraulic power plant unit capacity is increasing, the number of units increased gradually, the large bulb tubular turbine units of hydroelectric power plants access system and the choice of the main electrical wiring has become an important issue faced by the hydroelectric power plant electrical and mechanical design.In this paper several recently installed capacity is relatively large, the number of units more large bulb type tubular turbine hydropower plant engineering as an example. According to these engineering design, construction, from a technical and economic analysis of adaptation in large capacity bulb tubular turbine hydropower plant access system and main electric connection scheme, thus provide a reference for the design and construction of more large bulb tubular turbine units of the hydroelectric power plants.
