Thermorelectric known as the thermal power generation, which occupies three-quarters of the ratio in China power system, has grown rapidly. From the early days of the total installed capacity of1.69million kilowatts up to the current more than700million kilowatts, the thermoelectric provides reliable energy to the modernization of our country. Power system security and stability is important, so electric parameter monitoring system of power plant has put forward higher requirements. How to work with the rapid development of electronic measurement and communication technology, improve the accuracy of parameter measurement, the inteligence and stability of the systems, and reduce the thermal power costs of production and maintenance, is urgent to be solved in engineering areas. And that is the reason to design integrated electrical parameters monitoring system of thermal power plant as a qustion for discussion.In this paper, the design of electric parameter monitoring system is put forward with remote communication function on the basis of detailed analysis of the power system of electric parameter measuring principle and remote communication technology.The monitoring system in the hardware is mainly composed of master computer and slave computer with stable power supply. The slave computer adopts three high-precision three-phase electric energy metering ASIC ATT7022B measurements of thermal power plant three units of electric parameters and single chip C8051F021as the main control unit to complete the electrical parameter data processing, including data storage, clock control, RS485remote communication function. The main computer adopts C8051F021as processor to receive data, LCD screen and eight buttons to output and input data and light emitting diode and buzzer to realize the abnormal alarm function. The software of monitoring system is formed from module to overall by the module design method, including more humanized human-computer interaction software, stable and reliable communication handshake protocol, automatic correction software, data processing and other hardware drive program.What I have done is to complete the hardware and software design of the system and the test site organization during the monitoring system design and test in power plant. The experimental results show that, the system can accurately measure the power plant electrical parameters, and complete timely transmission to the master computer, the system can deal with various abnormalities alarm in time and owns long-term operation stability.It can reduce the thermal power plant supervisory personnel’s working strength greatly, and the benefit is remarkable.
