In recent years,with the rapid development of China shipping industry,port throughput is increasing,and whether the channel is dredging or not has become an important indicator of the port navigation capacity.The dredger plays a significantly important role in the work of waterway dredging.However,it is difficult for competent authority to implement effective supervision on small or medium size dredger,which is almost poorly equipped.Besides,the phenomenon of secretly and willfully discharging occurs frequently.All of these not only cause problems related to navigation safety and marine environment,but also bring some other difficulties to regular transportation management.Therefore,this thesis carries out research concerning the platform used for remotely monitoring the carrying information of port and waterway engineering ships.It can provide support for improving navigation environment as well as enhancing marine traffic safety.This paper designs a remote monitoring platform for carrying information of engineering ship based on the current situation of small or medium size dredger.The monitoring platform is based on iOS operating system.Then techniques of Objective-C programming language,SQLite database and some others are adopted in programming.Lastly the human-machine interface that can be used for monitoring the carrying information of engineering ships is achieved.The monitoring platform parses the carrying information of dredger from public wireless communications networks,according to the related communication protocols.The information has been parsed will accurately display,in real time,on the human-machine interface.When the draught of dredger is beyond the threshold configured in the platform,the monitoring platform will issue a warning to competent authorities in time to achieve monitoring the dredger in real time and effectively managing the phenomenon of secretly and willfully discharging.Furthermore,monitoring platform can send inquiry instruction when needed,to get the carrying information about a specific dredger.This thesis has completed the overall design and software research and development of the monitoring platform.Results of shore debugging and simulation test show that monitoringplatform achieves the main functions of the design goals,and it can display the relevant carrying information of the dredger in the monitoring interface in real time with the alarm and query function,and it can monitor and manage the small and medium-sized dredger transportation process in real time,and has important significance of restraining improper operation of the dredger,improving the work efficiency of the port management and improving the capacity of port security and efficient navigation.
