The rapid development of the traffic transportation industry is the sign of economic prosperity. Nowadays, transportation machine become the carrier of materials transfer. Transportation promote social economic prosperity and give people convenient travel, but at the same time it also poses a serious environmental pollution and energy shortage. Environmentalists and energy experts in the world, are seeking the feasible way to solve the environmental pollution and energy shortage crisis, from different point of view. Along with the development of science and technology, especially the controlling and material technology, renewable energy (such as:solar power, wind energy source, wave power and geothermal energy etc) has been caused the attention of the application and researcher’s at home and abroad.The application of solar power and wind energy source develop rapidly, and it has been infiltrated to transportation industry from daily fields. And now, there are a lot of countries have invented the solar power cars and solar power tourist ship, it probably become one model of the new energy transport system. In order to solve the difficulties of power supply and achieve the purpose of energy conservation and emission reduction around the Yangtze river three gorges, this paper puts forward a new system about new energy power supply in marine application and research the application characteristics and monitoring control scheme. The specific work list as follows:Firstly, analyzing new energy power related material and barges’s load characteristics around the Yangtze river three gorges, and then put forward the scheme of new energy power supply in marine application.Secondly, design the MPPT unit based on infineon8bit MCU and complete the solar power&wind energy source generat relevant test. Conclusion and analyze the test data, as the guidance of new energy power supply in marine application.Thirdly, according to the characteristics of the power system and the applications standard use on marine. Analyze and calculate the inverter and battery’s capacity, then put out a plan of selection. Launched a new management plan of the marine power system—divided the power user into several levels.Finally, put forward the monitoring and control plan of the new energy power supply in marine application. Designed the man-machine interface of the safety monitoring system based on Lab VIEW.The research results and experimental data analysis in this paper show that the new energy system used in marine is feasible but there are many problem should be notice. The surface of the solar pv panels must be periodic cleaning, because the sharp decrease of electric energy production when the surface covered by salt spot or dirt things. The solar PV panels must be fixed in no shadow and ventilation areas, to ensure easy maintenance and more of electric power. Real-time safety monitoring of the new energy application system can improve the security and stability of the system, in addition it can reduce the burden of the users.
