Palm plants is one of representative families of the most important tropicalregions of the world,and is symbol of tropical landscape,palm plantswith its forceful,spectacular,comely,cheesy charm and easy to plant,rapid growth,evergreencharacteristics to often as street greening trees,garden afforestation trees,landscapetrees,etc,and widely applied in tropical and subtropical regions,It is rare superior treespecies with high ornamental value to greening and beautifying,purifying,optimizingthe human living environment.However,there seriously exist palm tree species、environment adaptability、spacestructurein practical application,etc,the paper discusses the problems of gardenapplication with palm plants in xishuangbanna region,using sample survey method、datacollection method、structural analysis、simulation method and SBE evaluation methodthrough the field natural communities and urban artificially samples,launches thefollowing application research of palm plants in JingHong city:(1)The paper analysises and researches ecological environment,the composition ofspecies,space structure of Didymosperma caudatum、Caryota mitis、Wallichiachinensis,Caryota ochlandra,Phoenix robelenii,Livistona speciosa,Caryota urens,five natural communities sample.(2) Through surving134artificially palm sample with parks,departments andunits,community,road greenbelt in JingHong city,we analyse its application fromthe ornamental characteristics,adaptability,tree species composition,space structure,and use SBE evaluation method to quantitatively analyze beauty degrees of artificiallypalm plant landscape,obtained some influential factors of the degree of beautifulscenery,thus draws prediction equations of palm plants with plant,architecture,landscape sketch,garden landscape terrain,road square collocation.(3) Combined with garden palm analysis of the wild natural and artificial plantsamples,with the aid of knowledge and methods of plant community,landscapeecology,human body engineering,consider the relevant requirements of landscapedesign,and according to the range of geography climatic conditions,we study commonplant landscaping mode by palm plants in the city of garden greenbelt,and scientificusing certain quantitative index.Through research,the paper draw the following six common Landscape mode formof the Palm Garden Plant: ①The landscaping mode with other landscape plants.This landscaping of Palm plantsshould be planted group、bunch plant-based,the common mode is Joe-grass structure ofRoystonea regia (low scattered)-Paspalum conjugatum; landscaping with other gardenplants should be Joe-shrub-grass complex mixed-mode. The Common pattern is:Samanea saman+Ficus+Roystonea regia+Archontophoeni xalexandra-Plumeria rubra-shrubs–herb complex model;②The landscaping model with architecture. Landscape mode of the foregroundshould be used for planting with other landscape plants to the composition of Joe-shrub-grass plant structure,the mode can be: Caryota mitis-Hibiscus rosa-sinensis-Scheffleraoctophylla-Ophiopogon japonicus; The Landscape mode of a middle distance should beused Joe-grass type cluster form,the mode can be: Caryota mitis (2:1)-herb; abackground model should be used as landscaping Joe-shrub-grass composite structure,simulation model can be: Delonin regia+Archontophoeni xalexandra+Roystonea regia-Pandanus tectorius+frangipani tree-Crinum asiaticum–Ophiopogon japonicus.③The landscaping model with landscape essays. We should be planted around Essaysthe palm plants of the structure of shrub-grass clump together,we should also plant thestructure of palms by cluster Joe-grass,Joe-shrub-grass in the background of sketch,to highlight the landscape sketch. The common patterns is: Rhapis excelsa-Cordylinefruticosa-Begonia evansiana,Archontophoenix alexandrae-shrub-herb.④The landscaping model with landscape topography and water. To create alandscaping terrain model often mixes Joe-shrub-grass compound,the mode can be:Roystonea regia-PumeriarubraLcv.Acutifolia-Etlingera elatior+Schefflera delavayi-Nephrolepis auriculata-herb; rule-based water use simple mix mode in more gestures ofrules by Joe–Grass;Caryota urens+Archontophoenix alexandrae+phoenix canariensis-grass type; and natural type of water with a soft structure in Joe-shrub-grass complexlayer,the mode is: Capparis masaikai+Caryotamitis+Caryota ochlandra-Phoenixsylvestris+Wallichia Roxb bushes-herb,etc..⑤The landscaping model with Road and Plaza. Rules-Road landscape with palmtrees should be stroll planted with palm,generally Joe-shrub-grass,Joe-mainlygrass-based,simulation model can be Roystonea regia-oil palm (seedling)-Phoenixacaulis+Rhapis excelsa-Philodenron selloum+Monstera deliciosa+Schefflera; naturallandscape to create a type of palm road palm trees should form a broad-leaved-shrub-herb complex model. Common mode of coconut-Polyalthia longifolia+Osmanthusfragrans-Philodenron selloum-Ophiopogon jaburan+Nephrolepis auriculata+Alpinia zerumbet; Plaza Palm Landscape mode often is Joe-grass structure,the mode can be:Elaeis guineensis-Syngonium podophyllum+Crinum asiaticum.⑥Special Palm Landscape of other green forms. To create a special garden of palmtrees are usually planted cluster configuration; Landscape Forest can mimic the distributionof wild palm community,it was often dominate by other tree species,supplemented bythe palm plants; temple garden landscape with palm is mainly use Bayeux palm,Pinangasalicifolia,sugar palm,coconut and other religious plants; other special landscapelandscaping plants such as oil palm to create a sky garden,strangling fig and otherlandscapes.These Palms configuration mode on and determine to tropical and subtropical citybuild Palms landscape,optimization of plant selection and provide a scientific basis,while promoting ecological landscape of urban garden plants build level.In this study,discussed the limitations of sample sites,presented possibility ofanalysis of wild palm plants in the future in Yunnan Province as well as in nationwide,tofurther enrich idea of the palm Plant Landscape mode our province and our country; in thescientific of evaluation method,but also to have in-depth study in leaf of palm plants,attitude,plant coverage,canopy density and other related impacts on the scenic beautyof the factors. As well as to explore further landscape application development with therattan and the potential future species.
