In recent years with the rapid development of economy, building a harmonious and ecological city hasbecome the primary goal and important mission for city management departments. Building a harmoniousand ecological city is depended on shaping excellent urban landscape. As an important carrier of urbanlandscape, outdoor advertising of urban business district combined with buildings in different space-time,forms a cultural, esthetic, historic and economic visual space and reflects cultural connotation and taste of acity. It’s an important way to purify urban landscape, enhance urban influence, strengthen urban expressionand mold urban unique glamour by planning outdoor advertising landscape of urban business district. It’sessential for building a harmonious and ecological city.This thesis makes a tentative exploration for outdoor advertising landscape planning’s standardization,it makes up for the deficiency that outdoor advertising and urban landscape didn’t have organic couple inprevious research. It’s important to strengthen management of outdoor advertising standard design andsetup, set up urban outdoor advertising planning framework, perfect related laws and rules, improveoutdoor advertising communication effect, urban landscape image and urban environment quality. Themain research results as following:1. This thesis proceed from practice state of outdoor advertising planning, summarizes the researchresults of the current stage sets up research framework and introduces research method. It is based ontheories of urban landscape planning and outdoor advertising, then introduces and spreads out basicconcept. It sorts business district and outdoor advertising in detail, analyses business district’s function andoutdoor advertising’s feature;2. This thesis summarizes development history of outdoor advertising landscape planning of urbanbusiness district. This leads to perceive contemporary matters for outdoor advertising landscape planning ofurban business district. The main problems include: lower outdoor advertising design level, damagingurban landscape image, raising security concerns and causing environmental pollution. It summarizes andanalyses the causes of the problems. Competitive confusion of outdoor advertising industry is thesubjective reason, the objective reason include faultiness of laws and system planning, set up carrierresources unreasonably and city regulators chaos.3. This thesis expounds builds, urban road, urban square, urban greenbelt and ford influence onoutdoor advertising landscape of urban business district. For example, different properties, scale and styleof building make different influence on outdoor advertising planning; different width, properties andsection of urban road make different influence on outdoor advertising layout; different form and scale ofurban square make different influence on outdoor advertising sculpt; if outdoor advertising is set in thegreenbelt or fold, it must protect their integrity and recreational functions.4. This thesis presents ideas about outdoor advertising ideal landscape planning of urban businessdistrict, summarizes guiding ideology of landscape planning and presents five principles. The principlesinclude: unified, characteristic, humanistic, safety and feasibility. It analyses four techniques that include:style design, Color Settings, Material Scale and lighting furniture.Finally, This thesis takes Zhong Ting Street in Fuzhou as example for empirical study, based on theinvestigation and data analysis, discusses the outdoor advertising landscape planning method of ZhongTing Street, arguments research results in practice.
