In recent years, economic, efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection have gradually become the consensus of the power industry. As the combination of energy-saving generation dispatch and electricity market, generation rights trade can ease the large benefit adjustment among power enterprises, ensure the smooth implementation of energy-saving power generation dispatch, In the future, it can also be used as a supplement of long term contract, play the regulation role of market mechanism in power dispatch, so it has very active significance. In addition, as every province’s resources and cost are different, carrying out regional generation rights trade can expand the range of resource allocation, and promote the construction of regional electricity market, increase economic benefit and energy efficiency of the region, but the research on the generation rights trade optimization mode is not very much. The paper focuses on the generation rights trade optimization mode. Firstly, it summarizes and arrange the basic theory of electricity trading to lay the theory foundation for the research of generation rights trade optimization mode; secondly, the paper studies the bidding strategies of generation companies in incomplete-competition generation-right markets and builds biding modes under different trade modes of generation right trading and a two-level optimization method is proposed in paper. A test example with10market participants is served for verifying the developed model and method, and a further analysis on the bidding behaviors of generation companies under different trade modes carried out based on simulation results. At last, this paper studies two different coordinated optimization models of regional generation right trades, layered optimization between regional and provincial networks and integrated optimization on networks. In this paper, the organization of the two modes are introduced, and qualitative analysis of the characteristics and applicability of the two modes are presented at the first; Then, from an economic point of view, the paper thoroughly studies the economic mechanisms of the two modes in conditions of both with and without transmission congestion, as well as comparative analysis of market efficiency of the two modes; Finally, the conclusion in this paper are verified through examples.
