This article adopted Carrier Automatic Meter Reading system in Changxing as object of study, improving the data collecting completion rate as research objective. Analyzed the importance and difficulty on current Automatic Meter Reading system management, and the factors affect data colleting completion rate. Made organizing management and technology as research area, based on the experience on construction, configuration and operation of long-distance Automatic Meter Reading system in Changxing, analyzed factors that affect data collecting completion rate, explored new management model for Carrier Automatic Meter Reading system. According to practical experience, installation and operation of electric power meter device, station zone management, power distribution network environment, installation and operation of date collection terminal are the major factors that affect data collecting completion rate. That makes factors above the major objectives in this research. During research process, the utilization of long-distance Automatic Meter Reading system in Changxing is research carrier, schedule collection and arrangement data collection terminal or user of long-distance Automatic Meter Reading system that unable to collection and upload data, start troubleshooting with a single data collection terminal, and summarize troubleshooting result then create report to provide facts for the research of improve data collecting completion rate. According to research of Automatic Meter Reading system data collecting and management, to provide technical support for resolve data collection issues, improve carrier Automatic Meter Reading system data collecting completion rate, improve long-distance Automatic Meter Reading system productivity. Lay the root for building intellectual electric power network, and also provide facts for wire damage analyze, voltage status rate and power distribution plan, improved electric power and service quality.
