Additionally, with the real estate industry by leaps and bounds, the outbreak of the housing market, the traditional manual manual meter reading is not only low efficiency and requires a lot of personnel to carry out meter reading, it can’t meet the efficiency of the monthly electricity statistics. Although the national grid has long been aware of the way is not feasible to rely on manual meter reading, continue to develop the test, but also with the corresponding automatic meter reading technologies, including wired and wireless, etc., but because of the large-scale users, wireless communication range and subject to safety performance, has not been widely used. Based on this situation, urgent need to design and development- kind of new automatic meter reading technologies, since the low-voltage power network covering almost the entire human living space, and has a high power line mechanical strength, reliability and good, if we can use to set up good power network to communicate, by way of communication for automatic meter reading, not only good economic returns, but also very quick.The main content of this paper is the use of low-voltage power line carrier design- kind of remote automatic meter reading system. Due to the presence of confounding factors high cut, high noise, high deformation of low-voltage power line, in order to avoid the impact of these factors, we must communicate using a special technique. Therefore, this paper analyzes the high-frequency signal in power using spread spectrum communication, both to ensure the success rate of carrier communication, but also to ensure the reliability of data transmission, to solve the system of data transmission error rate, poor immunity. And wired and wireless automated meter reading technology compared with the technology, the technology not only improves the data transfer rate, but also has anti-harsh environment and other characteristics. Paper introduces the hardware design and simulation power line carrier remote automatic meter reading system. I believe that this text designs automatic low-voltage power carrier meter reading design is not only able to meet the market demand, but also to ensure the effectiveness of both and ensure accuracy,- given a market value.
