More and more large units participate in peak regulation to adjust to the thermal power structure change. Thus, more power unit frequently operates under unsteady conditions, in order to the energy loss in the operating process; this paper has set up a model of energy distribution and unsteady conditions.Based on the first and second law of thermodynamics, this paper set up a theory of energy distribution and unsteady conditions. The single-phase flow model, the duplex flow model, the metal model, the heat exchange model are set up based on different research objects, using these models, this paper set up models of extraction steam pipe, feed water heater, deaerator and condenser. And then, a simulation of transient operating condition about each equipment, and the thermodynamic energy distribution and exergy distribution are got, the main parts that make the loss set a theoretic basement of energy consumption measure. In order to validate the calculation results of the transient conditions energy distribution model, this paper imitated the600MW supercritical units of the extraction steam pipe, water heaters, deaerator, condenser, and the transient model calculation results and steady-state model calculation results were compared. Thereby, differences in the energy distribution during runtime between traditionally used steady-state and transient model. Causes of differences were analyzed, and main factors affecting this were analyzed as to greater factor for the gap. Energy distribution of all water heaters was also compared, laws were got and the reasons were analyzed.
