Research And Implementation Of Automatic Test And Control System Of Power Transformer Temperature Rise Test

Power transformer test is an important means of checking the transformer quality. In all of the transformer tests, temperature rise test is the most difficult and the time is longest. It is representative of the transformer test. At present, the automation level of transformer test is still low in our country. So it is very necessary to develop an automatic test and control system of transformer test.This paper does researches to the temperature rise test. An automatic test and control system is developed based on the PC. The system takes the PC as the core control device, and achieves high-speed data acquisition, test equipment control and instrumentation management through the technology of USB interface and serial interface. Developed software is based on VB6.0of Microsoft, and Access database and Excel tables are applied to achieve data storage and the print of test data forms.The paper expounds the purpose, the standard, the measures and the principle of temperature rise test, and analyzes the process and calculation of the temperature rise test. The software is developed which it bases on the platform of VB6.0. And, the system is composed of temperature rise test program, data management program and test reports printing program. Meanwhile it describes the design idea of these Programs.By preliminary testing, the level of automation and precision can be greatly enhanced when the system is applied in the power transformer temperature rise test.
