Green building is developing rapidly on international construction industry, it willbecome the mainstream of the global construction industry gradually in the coming years, andits design principles will become the basic design principles which all building design processshould follow. But architecture design and technical analysis are more and more independentin Green building design process, the use of design analysis methods and software tools areclassified more and more obvious, both of them are with high professionalism but poorversatility, and also lack of overall synergy.Based on the current situation, the research is focus on the approach which is moreefficient to make technology analysis be involved in the Green building design process. Sameto the description of the requirement of Green building design in Code for Green Design ofCivil Buildings (JGJ/T229-2010), the concept and method of this thesis is focus on the earlystages of the design aspects, to quantify the analytical methods of passive green measuresprogram to optimize the design.In this thesis, the third chapter to fourth chapter takes specific application for each ofthree different scales of design hierarchy such as building group, single building and localcomponents. These applications are corresponding to optimization design of group buildingswith considering outdoor wind environment, optimization design of building energyefficiency, multi-objective optimization design of external shading. Through the followingthree operations to establish the optimal design generation system respectively:(1) Using Grasshopper parametric design platform to establish the generation subsystem;(2) Using formula, algorithm or exported to third-party software to evaluate eachsample;(3) Using Galapagos genetic algorithm module to connect independent and dependentvariables to form auto optimization process.Through a lot of simulation and data analysis work, these three examples discuss thecombination of parametric design and green building design as patterns of design process, anddescribed the five characteristics as reasonable, effective, universal, ubiquitous andcontinuous.Parametric design is an efficient computer aided architecture design method for Greenbuilding design with a unique advantage and conditions, not only for it provide more designpossibilities, improved the design efficiency greatly, shorten the design cycle, but also for its own rigorous logical and rational level of quantifiable correlation, it will bring the powerfulnew impetus for Green building design.
