AEC(Architecture,Engineering&Construction)industry is always be consider as high energy consumption industry.First manufacturing building materials consume a lot energy,like cement and steel.Second the construction activity is also high energy consumption and the use and maintenance of the building is accounted for the major proportion of energy consumption of the building and construction industry.Architectural design effects the building energy consumption a lot.With the increase of global energy consumption and greenhouse effect,energy-saving and eco-friendly is become more and more important.China launched national building regulation“Evaluation standard for green building” GB/T 50378-2014,the provinces also basis on their situation launched their own evaluation standard for green building code.The life cycle of the building included the manufacture and transport of building materials、urban plan and architectural design、construction、building maintenance and building demolition.The target of green building design is through the optimization of the building envelope,building load and equipment efficiency to optimize the building efficiency and lower the building energy consumption.In the traditional design process,the concept design stage is more relies on the experience for green building design.The drawings need to be build models in specification green building software and calculation for the result.It’s complicated for architects.In the architect’s practice,even need to assign a specialist to do the green-building evaluation and simulation work.It’s not efficiency and it’s difficult to maintain the consistency of the model and drawings.On the tight design schedule,architects tend to consider the green-building effect basis on their experience or just give up the consideration of green building.In the preliminary design stage and construction drawing stage,try to adjust the thickness of insulation materials to meet the mandatory requirements of relevant energy saving regulations.BIM is “Building Information Model” or “Building Information Modeling”,is a Digital Building Model with a large amount data of the building.It’s also a process of integrating information from all design stage.BIM through different stage of the whole project,all partners and stakeholders of the project can insert or extract and modify resources in the project.People work together to resolve problems and keep the information to all parties’ consistency and instantaneity.The project information model established through BIM technology design has a variety of uses.Such as engineering calculation and construction simulation,which can also be used for green building performance simulation and optimization.Traditional design working process need to build model in the sustainable building analysis software.Constrain by the schedule and working load,architect used to consider the green building by their experience.BIM technology generate an information flow through all project stage,this let us can do the design and simulation simultaneously and we can modify and optimize the design on time.We also can use BIM to keep the 3D model and drawings consistency.Avoid to build a separate 3D model to do the simulation and when need to modify the design,we need to modify both the drawings and 3D model.The research of the paper is on the project design stage,how to use the advantage of BIM technology to help the green building design simulation and make the simulation process more smoothly 、 convenience and precisely.This article first to introduce the current main stream BIM software and the application of BIM in the design stage.Then sort out all aspects of the energy consumption simulation on green building design.Hope through the practice of BIM on all stage of project design stage,can work with the green building simulation and optimization to provide architects related guidance in visualization and quantitative simulation results under the condition of the design scheme for choice selection and optimize the building energy consum,thermal insulation,ventilations.This article take “Xiangya hospital teaching and researching project for example,use the“elimination parameter method” to judge the factors which have more impact on building energy consumption and optimize them.To verify the research value through project practice. |
