Nowadays, traffic congestion is becoming seriously, and traffic jam has become thebottleneck of the society and economy development. At the same time, due to lack ofunderstanding of the operation of road network, causing the vehicle distribution in thenetwork extremely unbalance, which would lead to traffic jam and reduce traffic efficiency.To address those issues, this paper carries out an approach of theory and method of vehicledynamic route guidance by using the IntelliDrive technology. Around the problems understudy, I carry out the work as follows:First, analyzes the development of intelligent traffic under the existing condition,illustrates composition and characteristics of the IntelliDrive, and then identifies researchdirection of the vehicle dynamic route guidance under vehicle IntelliDrive.Second, compares and analyzes the data acquisition and processing methods betweenthe existing methods and IntelliDrive. and summarize the characteristics and application ofIntelliDrive.Third, gives out the calculation method that considered the Intersection turning delay,which base on the existing Shortest Path Algorithm of the first N lines shortest. Combinedwith GIS data of IntelliDrive, determine the steering of the path at the intersection with thesteering vector matrix. And then obtain the steering delay of the path.Fourth, brings out topological network constructing method by analyzing thecharacteristics of the existing city road network. And topology the city road network to mainroad network and secondary road network. In this way, it can simplify the network andnarrow the search rang of the shortest path. At the same time, this paper presents acalculation model of travel time prediction under the IntelliDrive.Finally, cite the concepts of OD path set, and give access to the shortest OD path set bycombine the data characteristics and topological network under the IntelliDrive. Use a case,which analyze the path choices of an OD demand at the different road conditions, to verifythe feasibility of the proposed method.
