Combat simulation is an important achievement of modern science and technology intothe operational domain, prompted the army to change the traditional strategy mode ofthinking, ways and means of combat training, have a very important research value andpotential applications, is an important development direction of our military informationconstruction. For the needs of the Navy surface ships and troops for the combat simulation system, inthis paper, studied naval vessels combat simulation development platform and environment,HLA (High Level Architecture), three-dimensional visual simulation and other keytechnologies.Focused on the sea battlefield environment, the operational entities, battlefieldbehavior and performance assessment modeling, established the dynamic sea model, rain, snow, fireworks and other special effects models, warships, missiles, ships movement, trajectory models and performance assessment, cost-effective analysis models. EstablishedWarship Combat simulation architecture based on HLA,designed and developed the federalmembers, the object model template, the interface of federal members and simulation modellibraries, simulation database.Realized the battlefield visual display based on the seabattlefield environment model.Based on the findings of this paper, able to generate realistic sea battlefieldsituation, commanders exposure close to the actual operational environment, observe andanalyze the course of combat, determine the battlefield situation, command and control troopsand weapons, to assess the operational program plan, weapon performance. The results of thispaper can be used for research and operational issues, ship commanders simulation training, inspection and evaluation of operational plans, research and new tactics and new concepts, weapon and equipment performance evaluation and cost-effective analysis.
