The three-axis simulator is used to simulate ground-guided weaponsystem in hardware-in-the-loop experiment, so as to reappear dynamicscharacteristics of the simulator for rolling,yawing and pitching movement,its good or bad performance would affect directly the veracity and reliabilityof simulation results and the development performance of missile. With thedevelopment of modern military technology, technological capability andapplication requirement of the simulator is highly more and more. Therefor,it is plainly an urgent need for high-precision and high-performance simulatorto meet the demand of flight vehicles for manufacturing and experimenting.This paper focuses on the high dynamic and static performance of theaircraft simulator, it has completed not only the dynamic analysis on the baseof finite element analysis software,but also the control and test system studyof outer control system through virtual instrument. The main contents are asfollows:Firstly, the design of mechanical table in this paper is satisfying the basic static and dynamic requirements. Meanwhile, this paper mainly aims atanalyzing on the structural dynamic characteristics of the simulator with finiteelement analysis software ALGOR. The dynamic analysis results authenticatethe structure can meet its accuracy design requirements.Secondly, the mathematical model of the aircraft three-axis simulatorwas establish and coupling problem of between each frame was solved. It canobtain simulation results of the control system by PID decoupling controller.Moreover, based on virtual instruments (VI) technology, software andhardware have designed by decoupling outer control system systematically,including hardware platform with its test component and each function module of software program, confirmed that controlled and tested system ofthe simulator is dependable.Finally, the experiment of time response performance, low speed creepbehavior and bandwidth performance were completed with PID controller,this experimental resultsverify that the simulator can be controled effectivelyby the technical requirements of both static and dynamic specification.
