As a key equipment for the development of inertial navigation system, attitudesimulator which simulates the movement attitude of missiles or other flight vehicles,is mainly used to analyze and improve the system. Attitude simulator can berepeatedly tested with a relatively low cost and can effectively improves thedeveloping efficiency of flight vehicles. Besides, with continuously improvement ofits developing technic, the simulation results become closer and closer to the actualsituation, so it is playing a more and more important role in the field of aerospace.To meet the higher precision requirement, the standard of static and dynamicperformance of attitude simulator becomes stricter. Moreover, due to theimportance of attitude simulator in the field of national defense, the United Statesand other developed countries have been strict on China’s technology blockade, soit is imperative to develop high-performance attitude simulator.The design of attitude simulator mainly includes structural design and controlsystem design. This paper mainly discussed structural design of attitude simulatoraccording to specific technical requirements, the main research contents are asfollows.Firstly, the structure of three-axis attitude simulator is designed and drawnwith the aids of AutoCAD and Pro/E etc.Secondly, based on the software ANSYS, the static and and vibration modalcharacteristics of three-axis attitude simulator are analyzed and indexes of stress,stain and model frequency are verified.Moreover, based on the principle of minimum inertia with the naturalfrequency meeting up with the system requirements, the structural parameters of theoutside framework are optimized by using neural network and orthogonal table.Finally, the mechanical precision characteristics of three-axis attitudesimulator are analyzed. After constant tests and adjustments, the perpendicularityand intersection meets the requirements.
