The Systematic Research On Building Color Of Regional Spectacle Design

In the past few years, with the rapid development of China’s economy, theconstruction of infrastructure has been carried forward quickly, thus accompanied withthe accumulated disorder of city color. The characteristic regions of cities are graduallyisolated, and the intrinsic contents of historic culture are also disappeared little by little.As for the built constructs, the style, size and height of buildings are already shaped up.Therefore, it is unrealistic to destroy them and rebuild. What we can do is to optimizethe colors of city constructions. Building color, as a part of city color, manual tracesare dense and its alterability is relatively strong. Thus, it is necessary to conductsystematic researches on building color. The thesis consists of5chapters, with theresearch object of the current city space of Jinan.The first chapter is introduction. It mainly expounds the background of researchproject, research contents, research methods, as well as the current situation andproblems of China’s building color. Chapter2makes an analysis on related knowledgeand functions of color, spectacle features of building color and elements influenced thechoice of building color. Building color does not exit solitarily, and it is closelyinfluenced by surrounding environment. Chapter3focuses on related researches aboutthe establishment of regional color system, and also gives advice about the form of abenign one. Chapter4researches the current city space of Jinan and gives advice onhow to improve the city’s space image. First, Jinan should formulate a totalchromatogram about color control of buildings and refine various color patterns;Seconds, Jinanshould strength its control on building color through regulations; Third,According to the city characteristics of Jinan, the control of building color shouldconsist of three tiers. Tier1is “four districts and two areas”. In this region, the old andnew buildings coexist. The old buildings bear the context of Jinan, thus their colorshould be under key control. As the background color of tier1, tier2should be undermain control. Tier3is the buildings on the margin of the city. Manual trace should beweakened and make the color of buildings submitted to the color of nature, whichmeans the color of mountains, forests and rivers, etc. Chapter5is conclusion. Itproposes that the choice of building color should combine with its geographicallocation, the influence on people’s psychology, national and epochal characters tocreate building color which meets both the operating and spiritual requirements.
