The underground pipe network system as a city "lifeline" is becoming more and more important inmodern urban.The underground pipeline play an irreplaceable role in the city’s metabolism process.Withthe importance of underground pipeline system is gradually realize,it is improved from the selection ofpipe’s materials to the pipeline joint form.Most of the underground pipeline’s damage is caused by theearthquake effect.Pipes and pipe fittings besides should meet the functional requirements outside, stillshould have better seismic performance.Soft mechanical joints of pipe has various superiority, especially ofits excellent seismic performance.So,at present,Soft mechanical joints of pipe has been widely applied inpractical projects.But,so far,the study of mechanics properties of flexible interface is relatively rare inchina.To this, this paper studied and analysed the mechanical properties of T-shaped ductile iron flexiblepipe joints based experiment with the basic form pipeline destruction.This paper analyses the mechanical properties function of rubber materials of Pipeline sealing ringbased on the basic mechanical properties of rubber materials. This paper studies some methods ofdetermining the parameters of the rubber constitutive model based on rubber materials uniform deformationform.A constitutive model of more accurately descripting rubber mechanical properties will be chose basedon uniaxial tensile test data of rubber. The unknown parameters will be concluded by experimental datafitting.According to the parameters have been sure rubber material mechanics performance.This paper established the pipeline aprons mechanics model of flexible joint, simulated the assemblyprocess and mechanical properties of pipeline flexible joint, analyzed the contact pressure and assemblystress and aprons of rubber sealing ring.This paper simulated the rubber ring ’s contact pressure withwater pressure effect, analysed the contact friction of the rubber sealing ring and pipe wall of flexible jointanalysed the maximum axial tensile force of flexible joint,piping uniaxial tensile test results and simulationresults do comparative analysis. This paper summarized the working performance of seals in the flexiblepipe joints and a simplified calculation method of flexible joint of pipe maximum axial tensile force aregiven.This paper did some basic research work for the mechanical properties analysis of flexible pipelinerubber seal.
