Automobile Industry confronted with greatness challenge as the Constraints of the energy and environment problem become bigger.The appeared of the EV has provided a new approach to energy-saving and environmental protection and the diversity of energy. The EV has the advantages of high efficiency, quick start and zero pollution and so forth. The energy source of the EV is power which the most changed from the thermal power generation.the burning of the coal will produce smoke emission and fly ash emission. The emissions will cause the destruction of the ozone layer,Greenhouse Effect and the damage of the ground water. In addition, the cost of the batteries accounts for a very large proportion, so the energy and emission compare of the EVs and the traditional gasoline vehicles is very important.Through study of overseas and domestic the way of developing driving conditions,the Jinan vehicle driving condition is developed in the paper. The masses data are obtained by substantial vehicle tests. Based on the Jinan vehicle driving condition, the average velocity,acceleration and the distribution of velocity are analyzed by principal component analysis and cluster analysis.Based on the Jinan driving condition,the compare of the EV and the traditional vehicle is analyzed about energy consumption and emission.
