With the development of technology, the traditional structure itself by enhancing the seismic performance to resist the massive earthquake have been used in actual projects, but this passive control does not have the ability to self-regulation, often causing significant economic losses and casual ties. With the United States made "intelligent"concept, that "imitation of life functions will have a material integration in basic materials, so that components made with intelligent features that people expect to make the structure self-diagnosis, adaptive, Self-healing capacity,"proposed the concept of intelligent enhanced performance of civil engineering structure monitoring, forecasting ability, more important is that it can achieve the objective of economic efficiency.Semi-active control with the other hand the reliability of passive control but also has strong adaptability of active control, semi-active control of structural vibration control has become a hot research field. There are many semi-active control devices, including, magnetorheological (MR) damper is widely used in one semi-active control devices, and its organization is simple, fast response, dynamic range, durability, and the damping force can be continuously invertible Transfer and can be easily combined with computer control, damping effect is good.The commonly used method is the basis for setting damping rubber bearings or increase the structure of the upper damping measures, but under strong earthquakes, they can not achieve the desired results. This article set to the bottom of the second floor of MR damper isolation structure steel frame as the research object, using the SIMULINK toolbox in MATLAB software, and with passive control, semi-active control of seismic response of the superstructureIn this paper, semi-active magnetorheological intelligent control of the system were researched, mainly from the following aspects:(1) The intelligent control of MR damper status and progress of the research was reviewed, and MR damper semi-active control in the study of intelligent application was analyzed.(2) Intelligent control theory in order to make better use of the building structure, the structure of the MR damper semi-active vibration control of intelligent theory and design of MR damper methods were studied. (3) In order to better use of semi-active control strategy to solve the structures in the passive control and active control deficiencies and defects, MR damper semi-active control of several control strategies are described in detail, and its existence Problems and solutions were dicussed.(4) Using the SIMULINK toolbox of MATLAB, the mechanical model with setting the damper was analyzed, and various MR damper mechanical model of the advantages and disadvantages were analyzed.(5) Under different seismic waves and seismic intensity, semi-active control effect and the optimal control results with plus dampe were compared; the result is that under verify seismic waves and seismic intensity, the semi-active control effect is better than the optimal passive control.
