China, which is situated on the intersection of the Circum-Pacific seismic zone and Eurasian seismic zone, suffers from earthquake disaster greatly.5.12Wenchuan earthquake created large-scale landslides, coasts and other disasters of the slope which was unprotected or inadequately protected and made huge losses to the people’s life safety and property. Great Wenchuan earthquake brings up great challenges to selection and optimization of the slope supporting structure. At present, China’s western traffic is facing a new construction period. Therefore, it is necessary to study dynamic response of the supporting structures under the strong earthquake, and to select appropriate retaining structures forms of the slope. Based on the background of Dari Railway construction in complicated geographical mountainous areas, the paper is supported by railway ministry:Anti-seismic technology study of the special supporting structure of the high-Steep slope (No:2008G028-D-4).The research was carried out to study the dynamic response of supporting structures under seismic action by field investigation, large-scale shaking table model test and numerical simulation methods, and in order to provide a reference for the engineering practice. The main contents of this article are as follows:(1) Field investigation and documentation investigation on retaining structures was conducted on railway and road embankments in heavy disaster area of Wenchuan earthquake,and anchor frame beam as the main surpporting structure with good seismic performance were selected by comparasion.(2) Shaking table model test for slope with anchor frame beam was carried out to research dynamic reaction of the slope and combination retaining structures under Wenchuan earthquake-wave excitation(3) Numeric simulation was carried out for combination retaining structures by using FLAC3D. The results between the numerical simulation and shaking table model test results were compared,and the shaking table model test result proved reliable.The seismic performance for combination retaining structure was compared and the retaining structure such as pile-plank wall (down) and prestressed anchor frame beam (up) had the better performance during the earthquake.
