With the social progress and constant development of science and technology, there is nodenying that road transportation palys a more and more imprortant role in national economy.The more imprtant the road transportation there is, the greater demand for road quality. In thefield of civil engineering, natural building materials have been difficult to meet the requests ofthe road transportation which is constantly developmented. Nobody could have failed tonotice the fact that new materiasl and modified materials research are prvalent and pervasiveissues with which we are all confronted.Basing on the analysis on the early diseases of asphalt pavement which uses semi-rigidbase, solving the problem of semi-rigid base asphalt pavement’s reflection crack, this paperproposes the research approach that using modified semi-rigid base, appropriate pavementstrucutre as the point of starting. Combining with the past emulsified asphalt-cementstabilized macadam material mixing methods, the construction technologies of cementstabilized macadam and synchronous chip sealing, this paper has come up a new method formodificating semi-rigid base. Using this way, we can decrease the resilience modulus morethan1/3. Through the indoor penetration test, the reserch has found the best content ofcombination material and the proper mixture ratio of semi-rigid base for the penetration ofemulsified asphal. Through the indoor test research of compressive strength without lateralrestraint, splitting strength and resilience modulus on three kinds of base materials, this paperhas acquired the change rule of the base materials’ mechanical performance with the agegrowth. Basing on the mechanical performance and road-use performance parameters fromindoor test, this paper has established three dimension finite element model of asphaltpavement whith the finite element program. This paper has respectively calculated the stressand strain of emulsified three kinds base materials asphalt pavement under differentconditions. After the contrast analysis, this paper has put forward the reasonable structure ofemulsified asphalt-cement stabilized asphalt pavement and the typical structures underdifferent traffic ranks. This paper has analyzed the fatigue life of emulsified asphalt-cementstabilized asphalt pavement and cement stabilized asphalt pavement.
