As cars become essential to modern society’s means of transport, theautomobile industry has also undergone a rapid development. Au tomobileproducts are market approval or not depend largely on car chassisperformance. And shock absorber as damping components, its role is toensure that car with good ride equality and security.The purpose of this paper is based on diamond car chassis parts-torsion damp shock absorber, Reverse torsion damp shock absorber dampingcharacteristics and the internal fluid form to replace the traditional shockabsorber. It can be extended to traditional vehicles with torsion bar springsystem to lay a good foundationAccording to the principles of fluid mechanics and hydraulic theory,combined with torsion damp shock absorber structure size parameters,torsion damp shock absorber works and ways of working was obtained. Andwith fluid dynamics simulation sof tware FLUENT simulat ed the movementof fluid in the shock absorber work to analyze the fluid form within thetorsion damp shock absorber. Established the basic theory of the formulafor torsion damp shock absorber damping torque, fluid mechanics model oftorsion damp shock absorber. Calculated the size of the internal structure.Then studied the influence of various factors on the dampingcharacteristics. Including the orifice damping characteristics, the dampinggap damping characteristics. Cross-sectional shape of the orifice, thedistribution of the orifice was also analyz ed.Simulation program of torsion damp shock absorber characteristics waswritten. The velocity characteristic curve obtained by simulating in acomputer. Torsion damp shock absorber velocity characteristic curve testsand displacement characteristic curve test were done. With the virtual testmethod, the reasonable of torsion damp shock absorber design wasdemonstrated.Finally, according to the specific circumstances of the shock abs orbersoptimize design, structural parameters of torsion damp shock absorber wasoptimized. Write a program of the optimized torsion damp shock absorber parameters. The optimized damping characteristics and the dampingcharacteristics of the requirements was contrasted, to verify the rationalityand feasibility of the optimiz ed design.
