Ship electric network is an independent miniaturized power grid, which is different from theonshore power system that is relatively independent of the load because of that the capacity ofthe onshore power system is so great that it can be seen as infinite relative to the load in it. Thequality of the power of the ship is so vulnerable when the loads alter. Especially in recent years, the situation might deteriorate more quickly with gradually increasing proportion of equipmentsusing electricity a variety of heavy use of non-linear electrical loads in the ship power system. How to ensure the safe and stable operation for power system on ship is an important topic intoday’s shipbuilding industry research. The traditional monitoring devices are based fundamentalwave for measurement. It is not able to measure the parameters of the ship electric networkwhich contains harmonic waves. But harmonic pollution is becoming a gradually seriousproblem for the power quality on ship. This thesis is concerned with this to study at thereal-time monitoring system of the ship power system, including harmonic analysis based on theship power parameter measurement theory and harmonics measurement theory. The following is the main content of this paper:(1) Basic parameters of the ship power and signal detection theory. Details of the traditionalbasic parameters of the ship power, harmonic analysis indicators, algorithm selection andcharacteristics are introduced. It also highlights a improved synchronous sampling method toreduce the synchronous sampling deviation.(2) Hardware design of the monitoring system based on DSP. Describes some of thefeatures that the monitoring system is designed to achieve and the overall plan of the detaileddesign. And the implementation and working principle of some important hardware module arementioned.(3) Software design of the real-time monitoring system. Introduce the overall design of thesoftware system. Describe detailed implementation of the main module of the software. Andintroduce briefly the program debugging in CCS developing environment use of DSP emulator.
