| Lightning hazard is one of ten grievous nature disasters. With the development of economic and society, in order to adapt to national economic development, the power networks has extensive-coverage, high voltage, high automatic control level in China. According to failure classification of power networks, the trouble that lightning strikes the electric transmission line increases increasingly.35kV lines have always been playing important roles in our national electric system. But, insulation level of35kV lines are low,3-4insulators only, and35kV lines connect the consumers directly, so it is extremely important to improve the lightning withstand level of35kV lines, reduce the trip-out rate of lightning line, and improve the reliability of power supply.Hepu35kV lines are base of power system in Hepu, the security and stability of the distribution network are very important. But, the power network in Hepu is relatively weak, there are significant limitations on lightning. Because of distribution network’s low-level insulation, harsh operating environment, complex network structure, imperfect lightning protection, however, overvoltage appears in this system for various reasons. The overvoltage can cause some accidents, such as insulation breakdown, equipment damage and line tripping and so on. Therefore, the analysis of overvoltage and principles of insulation coordination is of great significance to improve the security and reliability of electric supply. |
