In the inside of the road, there will build migration settlement houses, which need be key protection. Therefore, Once Zhao Jiao Ya village slope slides, the protecting objects would be effected. So it is necessary to study the deformation and failure characteristics and the formation mechanism of Zhao Jiao Ya village slope, stability of the slope to the evaluation system, puting forward the management measures of the slope, and then puting forward suggestions support.This paper,in the full collection of related material, inside and outside slope related research results and the practical research based on the field survey, laboratory test, the theoretical analysis and engineering geological analogy methods, does research on the formation mechanism, the slope stability, and its comprehensive treatment plan of Zhao Jiao Ya village slope. Through the engineering geology survey, mapping and drilling revealing that Zhao Jiao Ya village slope is silty-sandstone and sand-mudstone layers slope.Intermediate clip has a weak interlining. Slope excavated formating the high and steep free surface with the heavy rain factors, which can lead to happen soft-hard interbedding rock slope along the cracking-sliding deformation.2. Through the research on the slope rock mass basic quality show that the rock weathering level is IV and the strongly weathered rock level V.3. According to slope destruction, the loss resulting from the severity, the type of slope and slope higher factors determine the rock slope level of security for level. The quantitative and qualitative methods on the slope stability evaluation results show that, under the condition of slope excavation, the slope is in unstable state; Using the rigid body limit equilibrium and the finite element strength reduction to the stability of the slope evaluation indicates that, its stability coefficient does not satisfy the standard requirement of safety factor control standards.4.
