Auto design is bound up with development of scientific andtechnological progress. In terms of auto design, its primary purpose isdifferent at different eras. At the very beginning, it was for adaptingtechnologies’ applying, and then it became complicated for taking estheticsstudy into account. Auto design has gradually developed as aninter-disciplined research project.This research is based on the participation in NCIC’ s SUV projectduring author’s school day. It takes the present auto designing and theproceedings as the basic way, combined with the users as its center objectand started with the research on brand character and target users’ life styleto obtain data and analysis for directing auto design. The design schemeverification task on the target users will be organized in anaphase to provethe feasibility of this scheme.The main content of this research is to improve the present designingmethods and proceedings. Ultimately, the final result achieved expectation.The car body which is designed under the direction from this researchdoesn’t only embody the correlative brand’s characters, but also satisfy theusers’ life style and requirement. Through combining users with research, the auto design could obtain much more convincible data and theoryevidence on satisfying users.
