Under the science and technology era of intelligent information,the rapid development of the productivity,the daily update of science and the constantly refined social division of labor made our economic society changed greatly.They also changed our life fundamentally.Under such background,how can people in 21 st century live? So in this paper,the writer took the area as the background and put forward the concept of “new life”;the writer researched the prospect of the life-style of people,under the intelligent technology era;according to the investigation pattern of life activities,such as the consumption pattern and so on,the writer judged what's the changed in people's life-style and what's the new demand in needed.According to people's new life-style and the demands,we defined the target products and the market;we guided people's life-style unconsciously;we created and improved the new life-style by the design.In the paper,during the implementation period,the writer firstly expounded the concept of the “new life”;and then,according to the research on the changes in people's detailed life field,he concluded the feature of life-style for people and forecasted the new life under the information era.After researching the corresponding theory,the writer made the empirical study for the product innovation design as follows;in the first step,he investigated and surveyed the industrial situation for the target products and the main competitive brand;he studied the latest technology and operating principle for the target products;in the second step,by interview and questionnaire inquiry,he analyzed the environmental behavior and applied characteristics for the target products which was used by the customers to summarize what are the new requirements they need;he summarized the usage problems;in the third step,he analyzed users' life-style and drew a conclusion-the design orientation for the target products under the background of new life;in the fourth step,according to the conclusion,he made the brainstorming,digital 3D model and the effect picture and confirmed the final scheme;in the fifth step,he made and tried the sample device;at last,he made the analysis for the information frame and the process for the mobile side of the target products;he made the visual effect picture and test exploitation.Smart era has the dominant position.Under such environment,smart era is affecting our life gradually.Our former life style is changing.For the topic in this paperproduct innovation design took the life-style as the guidance,its most important meaning is that researching and forecasting the new life style under the information era not only can affect our current behaviors,but also can provide new design direction and business opportunity for the target products.It can make up the deficiencies for the research of life-style in the design field of smart domestic products.
