If city is a poetic housing for human body, the culturallandscape wall in the city is the partition at home and the beautifulfolding screen. The cultural landscape wall could be a spokesperson of acountry or a city. It plays a very important role in the urban public spaceas the integral part of the contemporary urban landscape construction, andoccupies an important position and role of urban public space, enhancingthe city’s cultural taste, shaping the image of the city, so that the city wonthe respect, admiration or surprise. Cultural landscapes wall shows theattitude of a public art in front of people, and they set the artistic beautyand cultural connotation in one, beautify urban space for the city to createa compelling, memorable urban story.So far, the discussion of the cultural landscape wall at home andabroad are mostly no substantial progress. In the design concept level,China’s cultural landscape wall theory is lagging behind, professional andtheoretical research works less available for guidance.In this paper, thewall of cultural landscapes in the urban public space for the object, and tried to study urban public art from the perspective of cultural landscapeswall. A force to build a sound framework of public art and design theory.In this paper, the development of cultural landscapes wall,landscapewalls and urban history, the humanities and the interactive relationship ofthe city’s image to discuss. Conduct a detailed analysis of thecontemporary urban public space, cultural landscapes wall construction,with emphasis on discussion and promotion of the concept of urbanculture scene wall and reveal a new trend of the design and developmentof the times.Cultural landscape wall as one of the specific forms of publicart, its ultimate purpose is not only to increase the work of art for the city,but the pursuit of city-art-harmonious relationships between people,which is the ultimate goal of this research and significance.
