The pipeline is an important part in aircrafts, ships and other industries. There is a fluctuation in pipeline system transferring power or conveying materials which leads vibration of the pipeline system and then produced accidents and pollution are a major threat. Therefore it is necessary to study how to avoid and reduce the vibration of pipeline system.Combining the experimental modal analysis theory and finite element analysis, the inherent characteristics of pipeline system are studied in this paper. Base on effect of modal characteristics, the main purpose is to study influence of the physical parameters of brackets on the characteristics of pipeline system, which is benefit for safe design of the pipeline system. The work and results of this paper are followings:(1) The mathematic model of pipeline system is established, its bending vibration is obtained by theoretical method and the effect of stiffness and span of brackets upon the bending modes is analyzed.(2) The dynamics of pipeline system and its variations are studied by finite element method and vibration theory for multi-supporting plans.(3) Based on isolation theory and damping theory the effectiveness of vibration isolation is analyzed for variant assignment of damping and evaluation is obtained by multiple theory.(4) The modes and responses of pipeline system are carried out by experiment, and then the results are proved by the theory of confidence tests and correlation analysis of finite element model and test model.(5) The results indicate that the natural frequency increases with bracket thickness increasing and the span decreasing. The damping of different assignment enhances the ability of anti-vibration due to dissipation of much energy.
