Wind tunnel is the most basic aerodynamics research and development aircraftexperimental equipment. Force experiment is the most basic wind tunnel test items. Windtunnel balance is the most important force experiment measuring device, used to measureeffects of aerodynamic load on the model (force and moment) the size, orientation, and hotspots. And strain-gauge balance for wind tunnel tests ago, must be static calibration,performance indicators will directly affect the balance of balance calibration system accuracyof the calibration coefficient. Major aerodynamic research institutions at home and abroadhave attached great importance to development of strain-gauge balance calibration system.I0.6m this article discusses three hypersonic wind tunnel supporting six componentstrain-gauge balance of Earth’s axis (ECS) development and preliminary application ofcalibration system research. Balance calibration system is the sophisticated automationsystems, involving electrical, measurement and control, mechanics, and many otherdisciplines, not only in terms of function to be able to meet the actual needs of the application,you also need to achieve high precision and small systematic errors, while taking into accountthe reasonable balance of system performance and system cost. Rational determination ofoverall requirements and specifications of the system, is one of the key elements of thesystem.According to0.6m this article three hypersonic wind tunnel for aerodynamic testingoverall requirements, made the Earth’s axis of balance calibration load six-component balancecalibration of automatic loading system overall development programmes, and determine adetailed specification. How to implement a six-component balance calibration loadautomatically loaded, is six-component balance calibration system of one of the keytechnology issues. This article will use pneumatic power loaded implementation of generatorsand air pressure control circuit six-component balance load for calibration of load, ensure thatthe loading component precision index of coordination. At the same time, in the developmentof calibration system with automatic loading function, select and load design of automaticloading was also one of the key technical challenges.This article uses the power generator, high-precision closed-loop control of force sensorcalibration method of load balance loads automatically loads, while design and optimizationof a high precision force transfer mechanism to ensure loading accuracy for calibration ofload. This set of balance calibration system has been put into actual application. Preliminaryapplication system shows that the specifications meet the design requirements of the system, system performance and reliable, accurate and credible balance calibration results, precisionto meet the requirements, but also prove that this proposed system reasonable, cost-effective,spatial position measurement of balance and balance shaft loading algorithm correctly, haspractical value.
