In real life, large complex building has become an important carrier of all kinds of socialactivities, and plays an increasingly important role. With the economy and the societyprogress increasingly, people’s living level is improving and new demands are creatingcontinually, leading the number and the scale of the large complex building increased rapidlywith people’s increasing requirements. Causing the personnel evacuation problems happenedin the large complex building of vulnerability in an emergency. This article concludes5parts,analyses and simulates the personnel evacuation of the large complex building in theemergency.First, the paper introduces the background, the aim and the significance of the personnelevacuation of the large complex building, basing on the content the paper analyses the terrainand the situation relation to the evacuation domestic and overseas.Second, defines the concept of the large complex building, defines and explains therange of the emergency, then analysis the characteristic of the large complex building,preparing oneself for bigger task ahead.Third, the paper analyses and compares the personnel evacuation model and system,introduces the theory and partition of the CA, formulating the rules, then establishes themodel of personnel evacuation basing on the theory of CA.Forth, after introduces the case of simulation, this part simulates the personnelevacuation in the large complex building using the Building Exodus simulation system. Thispaper studies how the aspects influence the evacuation, for example the numbers of the exits,the width of the exits and the site of the exits, the stairs, obstacles, the evacuating bottleneckand so on. By looking for the problems of evacuation simulation, we draw some conclusionsduring the evacuation simulations. The numbers and the wide of the safe exit affect obviouslymost to the personnel evacuation, and the location of the stair impacts on the personnelevacuation obviously, but the location of the exit plays a less role on the effect of thepersonnel evacuation. After analyses and compares the different bottleneck of the evacuation,we should consider the numbers and the wide of the exit first on the improvement. We canimprove the other factors depending on the situation of the reality. Last, the paper combines the problems of the personnel evacuation in the large complexbuilding in emergency put forward some suggestions. Basing on the conclusions we can putforward some measures on the building’s construction design and some managementsuggestions. Eventually, with the aims of reducing casualties and property losses in a certainextent, this paper put forward some suggestions of safety management and evacuatesmeasures for the large complex building according to the large complex building securityproblems. This paper also supplies a reference for large complex building construction onpersonnel evacuation, to achieve a better effect of evacuation in future.
