Vibration phenomenon exists everywhere, some vibration on people is beneficial, andsome vibration damage affects the people’s production and life, and even result in significantlosses. Therefore, how to reduce harmful vibrations in engineering is the key issue to beresolved, and with in-depth study of the vibration isolation system, the traditional single-layer,linear vibration isolation system cannot meet practical engineering requirements. Floating raftisolation system which has good isolation performance has more and more applications inengineering practice. Nonlinear damping has been studied which provides base to design thefloating raft isolation system. And dynamic model of the system has been established torealize the accurate analysis of the system.Firstly, based on the Volterra series model, the relationship of nonlinear system has beenestablished, and the input and output frequency response function has been created, thenbased on that, the vibration isolation system with nonlinear damping has been studied;Secondly, take a floating raft isolation system as an example, the kinetic equation ofnonlinear floating raft isolation system with elastic raft has been established throughmulti-body system dynamics and dynamic substructure method; Thirdly, according to theactual use of a gear box floating raft isolation system, the isolation system with isolator hasbeen designed; Fourthly, depending on the characteristics of raft, considering various caseson the design space of medium mass, make the optimal design on medium mass based ontopological optimization; Finally, discuses the flexibility of the intermediate raft vibrationisolation system effects, and the system has benn proved be reasonable.Through analysis and calculation, the impact of the transfer rate with cubic dampingisolation system parameters in the resonance frequency is crucial; The selection and layout ofIsolators can significantly affect the floating raft vibration isolation system’s efficiency; Andthe system has been designed properly.
