| In China, the progress of high-rise building structure is very rapid with modernization ofthe city, the increasing buildings’ height, complex configuration and all-around requirement ofthe high-rise building demand the higher analytical method and the better design technique tothe high-rise building. The old analytical method is not suitable to some high-rise buildingswith difficult shapes, and the appearance of Finite Element Method(FEM) can solve thisproblem perfectly. Currently, FEM has already become an important method in resolvingengineering problems, and the large-scale general-purpose software ANSYS is widely appliedin civil engineering realm. ANSYS provide a very favorable platform which makescomprehensive research on complicated high-rise building possible. In this paper, based onthe method of finite element analysis, taking a hospital engineering in Beijing as anexample,presented the details of using ANSYS to create3-dimensional finite element modelto do a comprehensive analysis of the dynamic behavior and seismic properties of thisstructure. The first fifth-order frequencies and modes were acquired to compare the results ofthis paper with the theoretical results. The results show that it is reliable using the large-scalegeneral-purpose FEM software to analyze the dynamic analysis for high-rise reinforcedconcrete structure and the numerical simulation technique based on FEM will be very usefulin practice. |
