With the development of automobile industry, the demand of the Cab’straveling comfort and driving stability, especially the vehicle’s vibration and noisecharacteristics is convincingly strengthened. The state has also established vehiclenoise regulations. In the past only the problems of the car’s vibration and noisewere paid attention to, but with the improvement of people’s living, trucksgradually become a hot research focus because of poor performance of noise anddriving comfortable. Low-frequency noise direct impact driving comfortable, so italso becomes the focus of the study.Based on the brief international automotive design company design researchand development of a light truck cab as the research object, collect a large numberof domestic and foreign large amount of noise inside automobile simulation whichaspects of the technical information, this paper study on the characteristics, finiteelement method and modal analysis of the basic theory and research methods; thispaper, established a relatively accurate structural finite element model, acousticfinite element model and cab structure acoustic coupling finite element model, using finite element analysis software of the finite element model and thecorresponding structural modal, acoustic modes and dynamic response simulation, obtained cab structure, finite element modal tune frequency and vibration mode andin the engine unit under the excitation of driver’s right ear sound pressure level, theinitial completion of light truck cab noise prediction analysis. In summary, by a large number of simulation analysis and in-depth theoreticaldiscussion, a more comprehensive study of the concept design stage laden cabprediction of low frequency noise, low-noise design for designers of vehicles toprovide a scientific direction.
